It finally occurs to Miaka that Yui must be in Kutou, not Konan. So she tricks Tamahome and runs off to the border where she declares herself of be the Priestess of Seiryuu (the Blue Dragon) to a shogun in order to gain access to the capital. Here she finds her friend, Yui. Tamahome and Chichiri saw her taken to the capital and follow. Miaka is taken to the Emperor where she finds Yui and accidently drops Konan's scroll of the 'Four Gods' Earth and Sky' (given to her by Hotohori). The shogun finds this and exposes Miaka to be the Suzaku no Miko.
