Miaka returns home only to find that Yui is missing. She searches and asks her friends if they have seen Yui and they say that the last time they saw Yui was when Miaka was with her. Miaka then goes home and tells her brother about her adventures (resulting in a recap of the past 7 episodes) and returns to the library to go back into the Universe of the Four Gods, leaving her brother to follow and read the rest of the book.
