Wretched Rice Cakes of Love

This episode starts out with Akane standing infront of a closed rice-cake shop. Akane walks away, disappointed when an old man comes up to her and convinces her to buy his cherry blossom rice cakes as they will predict who her destined significant other will be. He says "And lo, it is said, if he who eats of the sakura-mochi or "cherry blossom rice-cake" is meant to be with you forever, the mark of the sakura shall appear on his forehead, but if it should be that he is not, an X will appear." Akane makes the rice cakes and tests them. Ranma refuses to eat one, under the circumstances that her cooking is terribly awful. After awhile, he tries one but then gets kicked into the air so he flies into black ink. This washes away the mark and then Ranma discovers that it was P-chan's hoof marks and not cherry blossoms at all. Akane doesn't find this out however and when she sees Ranma covered in cherry blossom marks on his face, she celebrates that they're really destined to be together and the episode comes to a close.
