Sailor Moon: Episode Thirty-Six Summary

Episode 36:Last Resort

Ok, Serena and her family decide they need to take a vacation. While in the car, Sammy has trouble with the videogame on the Gameboy. Serena snatches at it and trys to help but Sammy just yells at her and steals it back, thus causing Serena's locket to fall. She grabs it JUST before it hit the ground. Her father smiles and says "Whats so special about that locket, Serena? Did a BOY give it to you?" and Serena replys with "Well...sortof..." Her father freaks out and the car swerves in an out of lanes. Her mother quickly tells her father "Melvin probably gave it to her!" at that statement, her father laughs and returns to normal. They continue to drive until they reach a lake. There they stop and get out to take a short walk and see the water. Serenas father comments that "This was the place I first met your mother." Serena thinks about Darien while the locket plays. They then get back into the car and drive to the hotel. Meanwhile, back in Beryl's lair of DOOM *doom doom doom :D*, Malachite and Prince Darien are being talked to by Queen Beryl. Malachite states that a strange energy similar to the Negaverses but not quite, emmits from the lake Serena visited. Darien askes if he can go check it out and he leaves. Malachite asks Queen Beryl with some slight concern that "The scouts may have gotten to him and it is not wise to let him go alone" Beryl takes this into consideration and allows Malachite to go follow and watch him. Back at the Hotel, Serena is taking a bath in the hot springs with her family. Sammy is standing on the side, afraid to go in. Serena trys to push him in and he inturn, takes her towel and runs away with it. He reaches up to the top and he sees a figure. Serena snatches back her towel and looks at the firgure Sammy mentioned and noticed immediatly that it was Darien. She goes and changes into normal cloths and runs around looking for him, calling his name. He asks her who she is and what she is doing here. Serena trys to talk sense into him but he doesn't understand. Her mom comes looking for her and Darien disappears behind a tree. Her mom explains to her about the legend of the lake, which was about two lovers. One was a water sprite and the other was a villager. A woman from his village also loved him and was turned into a hideous beast for her jealously. She attacked them but the lovers used the last of their strength to seal the monster away and float into the heavens where they could be the garudians of the lake. Darien eavesdrops on the story and he summons the monster. Unable to control it, it flys off, targeting Serena and her family. Tuxedo Kamen appears and tries to help them but he can not. Serena and her family run off. The Sailor scouts appear and Sammy says "Wow! The Sailor Scouts! They're gonna waste that thing" and Serena thinks to herself "Not without me, they won't" Sailor Mercury uses her bubbles to create a fog for Serena to get away from her family. She transforms into Sailor Moon and then she attacks the monster with her tiara. It doesn't work as the monster reforms. Tuxedo Mask explains what he did and says he should take care of it since hes respondsible. Sailor Mars defiantly says that this is her job and she has more expertise here. She uses her Ofuda and frees the monster who turns into a beautiful girl and she floats up into the heavens. Later we see the Scouts all in the hot springs looking at the moon and bugging Serena :D The end.
