'.Hack//Sign' Summary

Tsukasa is a wave master character who plays the game called "The World", a popular rpg game of the future. In the beginning, the scarlet knights question him about associating himself with an illegal cat character. Tsukasa runs away and refuses to answer their questions. This lands him into deeper trouble when Tsukasa soon finds out that he can't log out of "The World". Whenever other players try to talk to them, he turns them away because he says that people can't be trusted. Tsukasa often goes to a place that is unreachable by other players where the cat character talks to him and there is a girl named aura floating over a bed sleeping. Real trouble begins when five other players get involved and "The World" isn't just a game anymore.
