To put it simply, Marmalade Boy rocks. Marmalade Boy is a very addicting soap opera and there are cliff-hangers pretty much *everywhere*. It just commands you to keep reading. In a good way though, since it's easy to relate to the characters. It's not of the Magical Shoujo Era so Miki doesn't run around in a skirt to save the world. (*coughSailorMooncoughcough*) The plot is straight forward and normal and while it deals with real-life problems, such as Yuu having problems with his father and Mieko's parent situation, it is still an amusing read. Wataru Yoshizumi is an excellent artist, and, want a random fact? She's friends with Naoko Takeuchi (creator of Sailor Moon)! It's totally worth your money and it's not a large series, it's eight volumes long if you read the manga.
